“Location is top notch and one off the best place to stay in summer, lake is just 2 mins away from the house. Host Herve is very helpful and provided us all information whichever was needed. There is a swimming pool just outside your room which you can utilize during summer and foosball which my kid liked it. Overall a great place to stay, but you need a vehicle to enjoy the place. Rooms were very clean and interior is top notch. Very clean washroom and bathroom.”

“My parents and I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2018. The location was great within the city walls of Murten. The owners were very nice and spoke great English, which was helpful for us. The style of the apartment was really neat - you still felt like you were in a very old, historic building, but the renovations had very modern, beautiful touches. We stayed in Flat #2. It had two bedrooms - one with a large double bed and the other with a bunk bed where both beds were built into the wall. It was really cool! The main living area included a kitchen, table & chairs for eating, plus a couch and two sitting chairs with a coffee table. They really designed it in a way to make the most of the space. Everything was very clean. We would love to stay here again in the future!”

“My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at Chez Pio apartment and it couldn't have been better! :) We had fantastic communication with Monika the hostess, who is very easy going and organised us to be able to get into the apartment when we wanted to. The apartment is modern, very spacious and super clean, it certainly is value for money if you're staying in the region. With its free parking nearby and the proximity to the stunning Murten old town and the lake. There are two supermarkets, Aldi and Lidl, just a few minutes walk away which is super handy for food shopping.. and there's a Coop and Migros near the old town. The kitchen has all of the things you would need while staying there. There is even a washing machine in the bathroom if you wish to do your laundry. We throughly recommmend Chez Pip apartment to anyone wanting to stay in this region, it was perfect in every way and we'd go back there in a heart beat!! Thank you for everythiing Monika and Jens. :)”

“Located in beautiful surroundings, the castle offers everything you need for a lovely and relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room in the guesthouse was comfortable, quiet and cool (important as it was a particularly hot day), and the breakfast buffet was a feast for the eyes and stomach. The castle is a 15-minute drive from Avenches and can be easily reached by car even late at night, but it may be trickier by public transport.”
