“Great hotel. Great price, with great staff. The place is modern and beautifully decorated. Non-smoking. The rooms are large. Clean. The staff are lovely and help with everything (including how to continue to transport, taxis, site information, etc.) We booked a large room and upgraded us to a huge comfortable room. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean. The hotel is very nicely designed with pleasant public spaces for outdoor and indoor seating. Good and rich breakfast. And the meal we ordered from the restaurant was great too. There is a laundry room with machine and dryer (including laundry soap) for free use. The surrounding area, there are shops, restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance. It is important to be aware that the location is Mingshan , about half an hour from downtown Ya'an. It didn't bother us. A taxi ride to / from the tourist bus station costs 40 RMB and takes about 20-30 minutes. A taxi from the city center costs around 50 RMB. We found the location as an advantage - because we took a taxi to the Panda's ( 100 RMB )and took us in beautiful way through the villages and forest , It was a really lovely trip. There is also a bus stop within walking distance (Chengdu +) but sometimes tickets run out and need to book in advance. highly recommend.”
