“We had the room with the balcony. The view is amazing! Hanging in a hammock and enjoying the sun's heat and the beautiful green mountains surrounding the pueblo. We loved the house and the overall feeling of living in a traditional house. The house is old but renovated. It has a special charm with the old mill stones in the court yard and the water running through the property. The furniture on the terraces and in the rooms adds to the idea of a museum. Everything is clean for an old colonial house. Food is simple but good. Wifi works good in the places where the signal is good. The owner and the staff are very very nice people. Private parking is available but not necessary. We left the motorcycles in front of the hotel. Bathroom in our room was small and cramped but this is not a five star hotel. Here one should enjoy the experience.”

“My fiancé and I stayed here for one night and truly wish we had more time to stay longer! Anna and Alberto are the most exceptional hosts and made us feel so comfortable and at home. Although we don’t speak Spanish, we were able to communicate through google translate and have nice and interesting conversation. Anna and Alberto prepared a delicious vegetarian dinner for us along with panela tea, and a lovely breakfast. They also gave us hot beanie bags for our feet that were so awesome to sleep with! This hotel is a little out of cocuy town (10 minutes) which makes it so much more beautiful with perfect scenery, views and opportunity to connect with nature. We relaxed on the hammocks overlooking mountains and farms- it was perfect. The WiFi works very well in the main house, I was even able to FaceTime family and show them some of the most amazing views of cocuy (from other reviews of other hotels in cocuy I read that the WiFi isn’t great- we had no problem here!) The room itself was very comfortably with plenty of cozy blankets to sleep. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The room had a indoor deck area which was nice to sit and enjoy views of the mountain. Our room was next to a farm with beautiful animals to see when we opened our window shades. We had such a great time staying here, Anna and Alberto made our experience in cocuy amazing!!”
