Hot water was fantastic. Wifi good. But most of all the owners were so nice, helpful and trustworthy. Gerado brought up a thermos of coffee and left it for us on the balcony each morning. We were able to use the kitchen if we wished and there is a fridge. Also, just as tip, I would def do the jeep tour. Your entry ticket is good for two days and covers the park near town and most of the sites on the jeep tour. So glad we stayed 3 nights here. Thank you so much!”

They were both great. He suggested a direct bus back to Neiva and even purchased the ticket for me at the bus ticket office. A hotel with a restaurant is very convenient particularly when you travel solo. I took advantage of it and the food was quite good. I hope to return next year!”

“Really lovely little hotel just on the outskirts of town. It's a few minutes walk to get to the main street and the hotel owner was really good at making some restaurant suggestions. He helped us book a jeep tour before we arrived, and even let us check in early at about 5am, letting us use the room to sleep a bit before our tour for no extra cost. He was really helpful throughout our stay and gave us a book with some information about San Agustin in English. He also booked a taxi for a friend we made who wasn't even staying at our hotel! There are also 3 really lovely and playful cats at the hotel which was a huge plus! Excellent value for money, and breakfast was very reasonably priced too. Would definitely stay here again.”

I'm not a dog person but these dogs loved right up to me immediately and 2 of them actually followed me on a 5 hour hike through farmlands and never left my side!Beautiful cabanas. Beautiful gardens. Also walking distance to another smaller excellent archeological site if you are in decent shape. Good breakfast for an extra 3$. The couple that lives in the main house are very kind people and you feel very welcome; the disposition of their dogs is evidence of their own gentle nature. Beautiful countryside and sounds of nature. I stayed in the small cabana which is great for 1-3 people. Big main room. Large bathroom for Columbia with excellent water pressure and hot water in a shower big enough for 2 haha. Use of further amenities in the main house is welcomed. Easy 3km walk to town. Some good restaurants are much closer. Some might prefer to have a vehicle, but I didn't. It's an absolute bargain! After 4 months and 7 countries this is my favorite place i slept.”
