“To say that this hotel is off the beaten path is an understatement. But not really far off the path. Tucked on a beautiful hillside overlooking rolling hills, small farms, Alpine foothills and Salzburg, the beautiful scenery was just spectacular. And the hotel was just as beautiful. Clean seams to be common in Germany but the charming old world decor here is just wonderful. Small gardens on the hillside above the hotel next to little out buildings made of rough hewn logs add to the old world charm. The staff was so nice and so helpful. She recommended a nearby restaurant that was just as charming as the hotel and the food was exceptional. I could go on and on about this place. Just a short 15 minute drive to downtown Salzburg, but it seems like it's in the middle of nowhere. So beautiful!!!!”
