“The hosts were very friendly, house was just as described, clean, spacious. The location is very good, right in the old city center, but the entrance is on a back alley (very quiet). Also, you can park your car in the alley. Even though there is a kitchen with an electric stove and everything you need to fix a quick meal, you can also find a lot of restaurants nearby, after all it is the city center. Large supermarkets are within walking distance (600m). P.S. The hosts and the property are very dog friendly.”

“What a gem of a find. It is located 5 mins out of Brüggen and is part of the larger farm house but has its own main door and is private from the main house. The owners, Claudia and Stefan are lovely and friendly and Claudia speaks excellent English and both made us feel so welcome in their home. Haus am See is an apartment full of wonderful curios, painting and history. It is located on first floor and has everything you need for a great stay. Claudia is so helpful and we had some washing to do, as we had been touring and it was no problem to hang this out on the main line. The view of the garden from the balcony is stunning and a great place to chill over a glass of beer or wine whilst watching sunset over the trees. Ideal for walking into town or out towards Hariksee and the surrounding area. For us a real home from home that we will return to.”

“Cozy apartment with its own private entrance, at a convenient location and easy highway access. The host is welcoming, lives in the adjacent apt, and responds to questions/issues quickly. A big plus for me was that it is next to the Aral gas station which has a mini-market to buy food/supplies as other stores close early and often in Germany!”

“Very spacious house for 4 persons. Great sound system. There was enough wood to lit the fireplace for weeks. I brought my mountenbike, which I could clean after a ride with the garden hose. The woods nearby are perfect for the mountenbike or a regular bikeride. We loved the house. We would definitely recommend staying in it.”
