“Staff: Sarah was very nice, and blessedly good with English! She was very polite with me even though I arrived quite late. After I cut myself with a bread knife, she helped me clean and bandage the wound. Her mom was hilarious... she doesn't speak a word of English. Every time I would ask her something, she would just call for her husband, "Hans!" You definitely get a personal touch when staying at Hotel Schütt. Services: They have a masseuse in the hotel named Jeanine... she was awesome. Hot stone massage, so good! Location: Great place for a motorcyclist to stay. The village is a safe place to keep your bike, and it is near many good riding roads and points of interest. The Biker Ranch is also nearby. Cost: only 51 euros per night when I stayed there, including breakfast! Room: I stayed in a small room with a small bed, but it was perfect for me! It was clean and had a place to hang my clothes after a long day of riding. I stayed in the summer, and it was very warm in the room, but if I kept the windows open, it would cool off nicely at night. A draw-down screen served as a blackout curtain to block out the sun in the morning and allow me to sleep a little later. Breakfast: amazing breakfast each morning, with a great variety of foods, including the typical German fare, plus more. Of special note to me were the local farm fresh cheeses and yogurt, and some fancy loose-leaf tea. Cap it off with a nice selection of desserts... yum!”
