“The proprietor was Italian, but could speak excellent English, as well as German, French, Flemish and Spanish and his native tongue of Italian He was very friendly and very concerned about us, as we had not confirmed our arrival, for which we apologised. We booked this stop, as an on route back to the UK, but what a gem we found. The lake nearby was beautiful and we could have spent the whole day here. The proprietor recommended a wonderful restaurant just across the lake, 300 metres away. There was a very nice café opposite the hotel, which sold lovely cakes, drinks and bears etc with a lovely sun terrace. Ideal location for bikers, as the bike trail goes directly by the lake. The hotel had secure location to keep bikes over night also. Breakfast as very nice with plenty of choice. Our room was on the top floor, with a balcony and view over the lake at the front. It was very comfortable with spacious bathroom. I would very much recommend this hotel to anyone.”
