“It's a holiday house in a 13c castle so our expectations were set accordingly. However the only possible complaint after the renovation of the house is that the doors are still more suited to the under 1.80m tall person! :o) Set over 3 floors there's a decent kitchen and dining area with a good lounge, decent tv and channels choice and bedrooms upstairs. The steps are quite steep so keep that in mind if you have toddlers or aged parents. Easy to get access to the building with good communication from the owners and their concerns about building works at the YH opposite were unnecessary as work seemed to have stopped - just as well as in the 36'c heatwave we had all the windows open during the night to get a breeze through the house. Outside there's not very much for the house but there are places to walk to inside the castle or around the castle walls if you want space or scenery to sit and read etc. Parking was easy in the nearby car park.”
