“From the first moment on we had a very pleasant experience in Pension Waldesruh. The owners were very friendly and also helpful with the ideas they gave us on hiking. The rooms and bathrooms were much better than we expected, the breakfast was excellent. We were also extremely positively surprised to have found a guest kitchen that was equipped with everything that is needed, which was not mentioned in the features. “The couple were lovely. (Their dog qas a bit licky, but we're doggy people so iirt wasn't a real problem except when it inssted on remaining under our bed. The property is three-quarters surrounded by meadowland. It's a great strategic place to be. We ere offered free ticets to the nazional park which we couldn't exploit as we were moving on the next day. Breakfast was what you would expect. But the coffee was exceptionally good and the orange juice 100% - two of my benchmrks. The village only has one restaurant - a pizzeria, quite good, with a charming, bubbly young English-speaking waitress. You can reach it on foot five minutes from the accommodation on a mown footpath. But get directions for the last phase or it will take you longer!”
