“We had a large room at the rear of the hotel which was very peaceful. The room had a small kitchenette in which we could make a cup of tea or coffee. The balcony looking up to the mountains was lovely. The meals were very good and the breakfast was very extensive. The owner was very friendly and spoke excellent English. We could store our bicycles in a locked garage.”

“Property was right on the edge of Wallgau, in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. View from our balcony was straight onto mountains. Spectacular! Owners very friendly, and property was well situated for exploring in either direction along the German Alpine route. We motored down through Belgium and Germany because we wanted to see other places en route. However, the autobahn route down Germany takes you through long stretches of flat and industrial scenery, so if we return to Bavaria (highly likely), we would probably fly to Munich and pick up a hired car from there. Our apartment was well equipped with all that we needed. Everything spotlessly clean, and bathroom always warm (underfloor heating). I haven't indicated that there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. This is because I have arthritic knees. For anyone who is younger and fitter, the centre of Wallgau (very picturesque) is about a 20 minute walk away. There, you can find several hotels with restaurants and a few speciality shops (bakery, cakes, clothing). The nearest supermarket (a REWE) is a few minutes up the road by car. We found this to be an excellent shop which catered very well for all our food needs.”

“We loved everything about this beautiful and magical place. Every detail is made with love and care, starting with the good breakfast, the rooms design and the romantic style of the house. The position is also beautiful, we saw beautiful mountains from our balcony. Mrs Sabine is special, her courtesy and kindness were gorgeous. Every person should go in this beautiful House.
