Next is the room we stayed in, the honeymoon suite. It was the most beautiful room we've ever been in. Clean Room, Comfortable beds, amazing shower, great air conditioner, Huge TV and the scenery outside our terrace is just Breath-taking! The Bed on terrace is just as good as the one we have inside! The Food. I opted for the half-board option and I'm really glad that I did! They served a buffet style breakfast and dinner but the selection is so wide that we wished we had bigger appetites! The Spa, Swimming Pool and The Sky Bar. All of which are amazing in their own respective ways. The Spa is the place to be if you want to pamper yourself, which we did! The Sky Bar is a great place to chill. The view on top is incredible and the beds and couches are definitely a plus! Overall, we had an such an amazing time staying in this hotel! We would definitely come back! I would recommend this place to everyone, especially to couples. ❤️❤️”

Cold on an evening, not a problem the hot tub is on timer to stay cosy through the day or into the evening after dinner. The view of the stars from the hot tub on an evening is perfect for a romantic stay. Don't fancy eating out, not problem there is a large gas fired BBQ or fully stocked kitchen complete most condiments at your disposal. Virtually every small detail to make your stay comfortable was taken care of by Orietta, even down to provide a simple breakfast since the local shops were shut due to our flight arriving late Sunday night (tip; there is a spar in the airport landside to collect breakfast essentials and more). The bathroom and kitchen are recently renovated to a good standard and very nice. The location is rural on the outskirts of the village, meaning it is secluded and quiet to the point of hearing the goat bells rings as they wander amongst the mountainside vegetation. There is typical local restaurant in the village and more 2km stroll away in San Pedro; they are cheap and endearing offering country fare, not gourmet. Also an afternoon stroll for a tour and wine, coffee, tapa/cake tasting to the vineyard in San Pedro is recommended (8 Euros). The area is a hikers paradise with extremely well marked trails, good for walking or more adventurous fell/mountain running for those inclined. There are three supermarkets next to each our 15 minutes’ drive away to fully stock up the villa, Lidl, Hyperdino (very large with most international brands) and Mercado – which has an excellent fresh seafood stand. We will surely return next year, but for longer.”

Shop is also close to the port or in the town - distance can be walked, however we shopped in nearby shopping center in direction to Galdar (max 10 min drive)”

A lovely 20 minute walk along a modern prom will take you to the Port past a wonderful lido hewn out of volcanic rock. Angor is probably the best of the tourist restaurants along the sea front but if you are after a more authentic Canarian experience then go the Dedo de Dios. It will be packed with locals many having large family dinners. Agaete is not at all touristy. We have spent many pleasant evenings at the cafe at the central square watching the world go by. Activity wise the area is good for swimming, surfing and walking”

“Very enjoyable stay in Agaete.Near the ocean (to Puerto de las Nieves about 1.5 km.) Large apartment in a canary type apartment.Two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bath ... The juice of the lodge was left (nice) .Us was let into the apartment 12 AM (Very Thanks :) ) ,because we were without a car and there was no place to put things. The host (online) is always trying to answer all the questions quickly ... And grandma (La Abuela) only understands in Spanish :) but that's no problem ...”
