“Location was great! The view was breathtaking, fantastic from your own balcony. The breakfast was good, typical Spanish breakfast. People were very nice and spoke English. Parking can be challenging since LaGuardia is a medieval village. We will stay here again on our next visit to La Rioja/Basque Country.”

“Loved the 16th century building, each of the eight rooms are different. Floor in our room looked original and was so uneven that bathroom trips at night were harrowing. Food was pretty good, but our eggs at breakfast. The walled town is tiny, walk from one end to other in 10 minutes. Some buildings from 15thcentury.”

“Nice, big and comfortable house where you have absolute privacy. Well equipped kitchen, including enough pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. It has really 2 nice big bathrooms including WC and bidet (one of these bathroom is ensuite) plus another one WC with wash-basin. A spacious garage where our big nine-seater car was almost lost. Perfect and fast communication with host via WhatsApp, including solution of some unexpectable troubles or questions.”

“The location could not be better, located in the heart of the beautiful town of Laguardia. Our room was perfect for what we needed in our weekend getaway and the balcony provided a lovely venue to relax in the beautiful summer weather with a bottle of Rioja and live music coming up from the square nearby. Our host, Contxi, was amazingly warm and helpful. She was incredibly patient with our amateur attempts and Spanish and gave us great recommendations for vineyards, sight-seeing, and even great history of the town and house, itself. She even gave us a tour of the cuevas under the house which used to be used for wine making centuries ago. While the tour at the nearby Casa Primicia is bigger, still operating, and provided a lot of history to the way the wine was made, it was great to see the more preserved cuevas under Mayor 35 for fuller context.”

“Alicia was highly responsive from start to end, giving instructions, meeting us at the streetside, assisting with restaurant and winery reservations. Fantastic host! Property was very central, within the town walls, and parking was nearby in a safe garage. Master bedroom was huge, with a nice bath area. 2nd and ground floor were a bit more of a squeeze. The kitchen was extremely well supplied with bread, cereals, fruit, drinks, milk, juice and wine. Really good for making breakfast. Highly recommended overall!”
