“This is a unique hillside manor house above vineyards and pastures. It clearly has history written all over it, and it’s charming, eclectic and a wonderful place to spend a restful afternoon and night. The host, Bernie, was delightful and helpful in every way with no formality or airs. It was one of the few places along my long walking tour - the Camino Invierno - where I chose to eat dinner. It was a simple but delicious meal, perfect. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat, preferably with my wife.”
