“The room was just perfect for a solo traveller. Only one comfy and roomy bed, enough space for me in the room, and an excellent bathroom. Hotels should have more rooms like this. The attention to details in this hotel is extraordinary, especially considering the price. 4 and 5 stars hotels, watch out! Superb breakfast included. Excellent if you are travelling from north to south Spain (or viceversa) and don't want to enter into Madrid. Roads around the hotel are fantastic for motorbikes.”

Hotel Puerta Sepúlveda is located in the centre of Sepúlveda, 450 metres from Los Corralones Square and 1 km from the Río Duratón National Park.
“This family run hotel was excellent in every aspect. Our trip wasn't planned, our car had broken down and we were taken to this town and had to get emergency accomodation. What a gem. Although they spoke very little English, and we spoke very little Spanish, their help in trying to get information on our car repair was wonderful. They allowed us to keep our rooms for the day in the hope our car would be repaired by the evening and didn't charge us for such a late checkout. Lovely family, lovely hotel. Would highly recommend.”

Located in Sepúlveda’s main square, Hotel-Hospedería de los Templarios is ideally situated for exploring this national monument by foot.
“I liked everything of this place. What isn't there to like? The staff was friendly, the room very cozy, comfortable and clean, the breakfast was incredibly good. I love that the owners also run a bakery adjacent to the hotel and the lobby often has a recently baked almondy smell.”

“We were there on a night that most restaurants were closed. Luckily, we were able to have lunch at the wonderful restaurant just up the hill and had plenty of food leftover for takeout for dinner. The owner of Posada de San Millan was kind enough to reheat our leftovers so that we could sit in the beautiful dining room and drink a great bottle of wine with dinner.”
