“The location was very quiet, but easy to find and close to the motorway. The directions on the booking were very good, and I drove straight there and phoned the owner whose telephone number is shown on the parking sign for the garage. He came immediately from the shop. ( I realise now I should have gone to the shop to get the keys, but I couldn't find that information on my mobile where I had done the booking) The owner was very pleasant, and I was shown around everything, and told I could use the lounge and kitchen area to prepare a meal, and watch TV. It was a comfortable and warm evening indoors, since it was raining outside! We were lucky that no-one else was staying, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The dog and I took a walk through the village, which was old fashioned and charming. Look out for the old well and the old clothes washing site, down near the children's play area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything worked ok. Speaking Spanish was helpful, though I think the proprietor would manage otherwise. It was a good stopping point between the Costa del Sol and Burgos for my journey back to UK. A relief to find somewhere which accepted a well behaved dog.”
