“The campsite was lovely, very clean and facilities were great. There was a lovely outdoor pool with large slide and a really lovely indoor pool with a perfect kids pool with slide which we spent a lot of time in due to age of the kids. There was a super outdoor play area which the twins 3 loved and we visited often. You could order takeaway food on site and the pizzas and chips were super. We didn't eat at the campsite restaurant but only because we were out and about every day and ate locally on the day. The campsite is on the outskirts of a gorgeous little village of Angles where there are regular markets and a few lovely places to eat. There was a large supermarket around a 5 minute drive away with everything you could need. I highly recommend the beach at La Tranch Sur Mer which is a lovely little spot with a beautiful golden sandy beach. All along the coast there were beautiful beaches within minutes of each other. If visiting this area I highly recommend the 50minute drive in to La Rochelle. I is a really beautiful place to visit with great places to eat or people watch and we visited three times and it was buzzing every time. There are two fabulous Aquariums, one close the the campsite and the large one in La Rochelle well worth visiting. The kids were blown away with the fabulous fish!”
