“This place was perfect for recharging our batteries on a hectic trip: it's a huge place out in the country, great for relaxing. It would make a good location for a family reunion or other kind of gathering. The place is well-furnished, and has a lot of character. It has a laundry washing machine!! The kitchen is wonderful and well-equipped (and also the only place to get good wifi reception since the walls are so thick). The surrounding area is rural countryside, and if you're looking to get away from it all it's a great getaway spot. It's also well located for sightseeing along the Loire valley which we did a little. We really enjoyed a creperie in Montsoreau called La Dentellière (good food, good service, good view). The host was friendly & helpful (she came after we called her when we arrived, since we didn't know beforehand when we would get there). A great place to sit back and enjoy the countryside together.”
