A19th-century stone house set in the Black Périgord region, Bed & Breakfast Le Moulin Neuf sits in a 15-acre park. It offers a terrace, daily breakfast and free Wi-Fi throughout.
“I spent a few days in Le Moulin Neuf with my family, and we were absolutely happy with everything that the place has provided. The house itself has an idyllic forest spirit, but is located just a few minutes drive from two lovely old villages, both could easily be on the list of "the most beautiful villages of France", and they probably are. Robert, the owner, is one of the friendliest and kindest people that I have met, and he made sure that we liked every bit of our stay, providing great recommendations for the area. I would absolutely recommend Le Moulin Neuf!”

Boasting a garden, an outdoor pool and pool views, Les Coustilles is situated in Saint-Alvère.
“The gite is spacious, very well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. The owners had gone the extra mile to provide things like cooking oil, washing up liquid and the like, things that are more difficult to transport by plane. There is just a short walk into the village, where there is a very good restaurant, bakers and a small supermarket. With these and the Monday market we didn’t need to go elsewhere for provisions. There is much to see and do in the nearby Dordogne area, and the local roads were quiet and easy to navigate, whilst the property itself is the perfect place for a lovely quiet week if you just want to unwind.”

Boasting a garden, an outdoor pool and pool views, La Guelta is located in Saint-Alvère.
“As I was visiting the Vezere Valley, the house was in the perfect location--very central to many important sites. The host was very good at communicating and was helpful with suggestions for local sites and practical information. The house is a charming stone building that was once the village school house. It provides you with firsthand experience of the architecture of the area. I would highly recommend La Guelta to sole travelers or groups, especially families!”

“Beautiful and peaceful stay! Big private room with on-suite, fridge and privately secured garage. The host is a nature lover who's heart is at the care of her estate and her guests. She was always present and willing to assist in anyway needed. Her self prepared, exquisitely presented breakfast was all home grown grown/home made confitures, delicious coffee/tea/fresh juice, and a variety of fresh baked bread. Merci Edith!”

Located in Saint-Alvère, 31 km from Bergerac, Chambres d'hotes Les Coustilles provides a garden and free WiFi.
“It was a little tricky to find but this was mainly because we arrived on market day and the main road in the village was blocked so we couldn't see the signs... However, we did find it and it was well worth the effort. A large bedroom comfortably furnished with various period furniture, modern well appointed shower room and the bonus of a little kitchenette... The breakfast was superb and plentiful, toast, bread, jams of all types, coffee or tea, cereals, fruit, yoghurts and cheese and we also had fresh eggs cooked to order by Helen or her daughter who was there for the holidays..”
