Fre shuttle buses run 24hrs and stop more or less outside the door and down the lift. Staff are friendly as the French can be, but be accurate with expected arrival time or the apartment will not be ready. Great ski room facilities with big cages for each apartment for skis and boots. I had a wonderful view of the southern slopes, great at sunset. Loads of hot water, and kitchen was very handy. Please don't book here so I can be sure to get a reservation for next year, loved it.”

“The location was key for us and it was perfect in that respect. Small and comfortable as we expected. The size reflected the rental price we paid so we were happy with that. The studio was generally dirty and before we could use the cutlery, plates , cups and glasses we had to wash them. Some blankets appeared new so they were fine. The only single duvet that was in the studio was smelt so sweaty that we had to put it out on the balcony all week. Work surfaces were sticky and carpets were also dirty. I felt slightly resentful paying for a cleaner after our stay when I cleaned up before we unpacked and before we left. I owned an apartment myself in Tignes for 15 years so know the importance of customer retention in these times of osterity. My advise would be change the pillows and duvets and get the cleaners to do a thorough clean following each rental including the owners stay.”

“Spent a few days skiing in Val Claret (part of Tignes) and stayed in Slalom residence. The apartment was basically furnished but comfortable and more than enough for my needs. Came with microwave and dishwasher if you're going to do your own cooking. Decent sized bathroom with full sized bath. Interhome provide a small settling in kit complete with toilet roll, but there's also a supermarket just up the street. I could have done the season living there. Only minor issue was that I didn't know how to switch on the electricity in the apartment...but rep was nice enough to come down the street from the office and show me the master switch adjacent to the main fuse box...which you just needed to turn... Val Claret is compact and complete with its own decent sized cinema. Access to the slopes involved a slight walk through town, but everything else including lift pass, ski hire, restaurants and entertainment (not cheap) is all close by. Recommended”
