The breakfasts were okay and the staff there were friendly and welcoming, the attention to detail during breakfast was nice and the lady at the property went out of her way to offer a good service. Overall it was a polite stay. This is ideal for a few days break with no frills if you just want somewhere clean to sleep and a good breakfast. Ideal location for the town and surroundings villages, train station is very near as is the bus depot. I would recommend this to those who seek a quiet, pretty, basic place to stay for a few days.”

“The hosts had gone visiting for Christmas when I arrived but they had left good, clear instructions in an advance email and a friendly welcoming letter on the table. From the moment I walked in the room, I was astounded by the luxury! - it was far beyond the price I had paid! The double-room apartment is fully self-contained and has an amazing view overlooking the bay, and that was further emphasised when I awoke in the morning to see lots of chirpy cheerful birds - sparrows, robins, finches, blackbirds all fluttering around the seed-feeders in the garden below - with two squirrels and three pigeons looking for crumbs! I had a nice walk around the town, admiring the stone buildings and clean scenery, and the public transport staff were truly a breath of fresh air! .. I couldn't imagine a more perfect way to finish my trip to the UK :)”

“This apartment is a real home from home with all the amenities that you would expect of a high spec apartment. Roy and Lynne are excellent host, enthusiastic and attentive without being overboard. Roy met us to show us around the apartment, which is spotlessly clean and well laid out. Sitting room with incorporated kitchenette was ideal for our needs, with two separate bedrooms and shower/bath room. Location is ideal at 5 minutes walk from town, with a spectacular view of Barmouth bay from the floor to ceiling bay window complete with conveniently placed armchairs. We enjoyed our stay immensely, so thanks to Roy and Lynne, we will certainly stay here when we return to the locality. Pete & Lisa”
