“The best cottage we have ever stayed in. From the warm welcome by Sara with tea and cake, right down to the fluffy soft towels. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully fitted with nothing wanting. My husband and I were like a couple of kids rushing to the window when a train came in although we did not always hear it! Quiet, peaceful, lovely views. I don't want to say too much as everyone will want to book it and it wont be available when we want it again!!!”

“Everything! There is such a cool history associated with this inn and pub. It is owned by the local community and you can tell how proud of it they are...and they should be, because it is incredible! Staying here was the highlight of a 10 day trip to England and Wales. It was such a cool experience and completely unexpected. If you’re passing through you should absolutely stay here. The value was great. The history associated with it was great. The people of the town and patrons of the pub were very welcoming. The manager, Jaime, went above and beyond to help us have a good stay, and I really can’t say enough good things about my visit here. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in the room above the pub with 2 kids (age 2.5, and 5 months) and there wasn’t much noise. Neither had a problem sleeping or staying asleep (and they are light sleepers). The quality and price are seriously top notch.”
