“Bend or Bump was a lovely, cosy, characterful cottage -- with an open fire place, nicely kept garden, and full of low beams and antique furniture. The beds were really comfortable with new mattresses, duvets and bedding. Coniston is a beautiful and relatively untouristy village, and the cottage is perfectly situated near the pub but at the start of the walk up the Old Man of Coniston. Really good value for money.”
