“Well located accomodation just in the centre of National Park, two great pubs in walking distance. Super friendly lady Joan made us a delicious english breakfast, especially the coffee and outstanding hot berries and fruits with the yogurt we will remember for a long time. She also gave us some great tips what to see in Exmoor. The owners have cute and really friendly dog Tommy. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, decorated with many paintings, photographs and objects connected with the local way of life. You can enjoy the traditional atmosphere of farming in this area, breeding horses and hunting dogs, wildlife paradise - deer, pheasants, wild horses ...”

“Wonderful retreat in the heart of Exmoor. A beautifully decorated room with a lovely en suite, a nespresso machine and a selection of coffee and tea together with a slice of home-made cherry cake on arrival. The bed was exceptionally comfy providing a great night's sleep. We got to sit out in the stunning gardens on the terrace watching the sun go down before a short walk into the village for dinner. Breakfast was amazing including a hot apple cobbler, fresh yoghurt and a selection of nuts in lemon honey. Gallons of fresh brewed coffee and a wonderful selection of cooked breakfasts. The vegetarian charred avocado was heavenly with loads of fresh buttered toast and the host's homemade baked beans. Cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough!”
