“I had an absolutely brilliant overnight stay at Prestleigh Inn. Recently taken over by Gary and Debbie, on arrival I was instantly welcomed like an old friend. The room was lovely and warm, with a big bed, and brand new fresh smiling towels. After a nice hot shower, I headed down to the pub in the evening where the locals were extremely friendly. It had such a homely feel, with lots of laughs and very reasonably priced drinks. I then went into the restaurant where I had a beautiful steak and chips and sticky toffee pudding, cooked by Gaz, who served it personally and checked up to see if I had everything I needed regularly. The prices are very good for the amount of food you get, and the quality was very high. After a great nights sleep, I had a cooked breakfast, with sausages that were genuinely the best I have ever eaten, from the local butcher. All in all, it was a really lovely stay and I am looking forward to coming back!”
