“We are a couple and stayed here for 5 nights and could not be happier with the entire experience. We felt very welcomed by the friendly, upscale and charming hosts, who live on the property, and we enjoyed the aperitif greetings! The location was very convenient, the apartment is fully equipped and everything was sparkling clean and tastefully decorated while the quality of the detail in everything from the plumbing fixtures to the appliances and furniture was superb. The bed was very comfortable and the excellent air-conditioning in the bedroom is a new super-quiet top of the line model. The apartment is on the top floor of a big beautiful new house and it was always quiet and peaceful with 100% privacy. We were amazed at the fine quality of the dinner that was prepared at our request (for an extra charge) and delivered with a smile to our lovely veranda. It was a perfectly presented local lobster with an assortment of finely prepared home-made local delicacies, and the entire dinner, which included a rum drink, appetizers and a divine local fruit salad for desert, was only $40 per person. For other meal supplies there was a huge Carrefour market only 10-15 minutes from the apartment with everything you could could possibly want...and more. A big THANK YOU to our hosts Fabrice and Félia for making our visit to Guadeloupe a wonderful experience!”

“We had a great time at Villa Bellevue. The owners - a very nice family - are great and lovely hosts. They answered all questions we had on Guadeloupe and gave us some really good tips on where to go. We had lovely chats with them and we departed as friends. As for the apartment: it is great, well maintained and spotless clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there and eating our meals on the terrace. The location is perfect for exploring the Carbet waterfalls and hiking around the Grand Etage lake. So if you want to explore the South-East coast of Basse Terre our recommendation is to stay at Villa Bellvue. We'll definitely stay there again when returning to Guadalupe.”
