“Loved Mika’s House. Traditional Halki house. Seconds away from the sea front with all Taverna’s and bars. There are about 12 steps max up to the property, depending which way you take, to the entrance of the outside door, then another 11 steps to the house. The balcony is great - Big enough to spend your days. It’s fully furnished including a huge sun shade, perfect for those who enjoy balcony life with a good book. The property is very private, No sea view. We had 2 weeks there and would definitely book it again as it’s so near to amenities and the sea front, and equal distance to Pondamos and Ftengia beach, about 10 mins. Mary the owner is great she keeps you informed and always responds to the messenger service via Booking.com. “Book it you will love it””

“Villa Cohili is just a ten-minute walk from the harbour and yet feels quiet, peaceful and private. I adored the outdoor shower and the view across the sea to other islands. Little Ftenagia beach is one of the prettiest on the island and although I didn't have time to go to the taverna, it's useful to have it nearby. The windows were well fitted with screens and shutters so it was no problem to get air in the house without mosquitoes. Everything was nicely done, and although I stayed on my own, the house can easily sleep four, with lots of outside space and sunloungers. I really enjoyed it.”

When we were there, we were the only guests; the other apartment(s) were not occupied. So we had a very quiet night. We were waited upon and handed over the keys by Mrs. Mimosa who apparently does this job for the owners.”

“This is a very quirky and cute home a few minutes walk behind the Main Street along the waterfront of Halki. It is a traditional house and decorated in traditional style but the modern AC worked perfectly to cool us down while sleeping at night. While it doesn’t have the waterfront balconies of other Halki properties, it makes up with charm! Our hosts were kind and accommodating, and the place kept extremely clean. It is a few minutes walk to Dimitris Bakery which makes delicious tiropita etc and the perfect way to start your morning! It is also a few minutes walk from the waterfront (easy walk from where the boat arrives to Yiayia’s Home with your bags, and very easy to walk to various waterfront swimming spots. We had a very comfortable stay here and a wonderful time in Halki - heaven!”
