“First of all, the host, Evi is a fantastic, caring person! We got all the help we needed with the timetabels for ferries, taxi phone numbers, and WiFi. At one point we were even gifted a big package of ice cream on a particularly hot day. When we stayed at Alkyonis our apartment was always cleaned every second day, and everything was on point. We always had fresh towels! The WiFi was very fast! We knew that it wasn’t like that in every single room, but when we told Evi that it was important to us to have a good connection, she did everything she could to make it possible. The equipment in the apartment and in the kitchen was just as we needed, and I’m sure that if we lacked something, Evi would find a solution! The view from the apartments and from the terrace is astounding. We usually watched the sunset from our balcony - such an amazing experience. Everything is close! There’s a small local shop just a minute or two away from the apartments. Same about the beach, which was a huge convenience especially when it was very warm! We could go take a dip any time of the day. There are also several amazing local restaurants in a very close range - just pick and choose, everything is delicious. Getting to the ferry or to town wasn’t a problem either. You can get everywhere by bus or taxi, or if the weather is alright for that, walking is a valid option too as the island isn’t very big. There’s a car/bike rental nearby! We didn’t rent a car as we didn’t really feel the need to, but if you’d like to, it’s absolutely possible to do that. Our family definitely recommends Alkyonis Apartments to everyone who wants to explore Kalymnos not only as a tourist, but also from inside! The value is great, and everyone we met was very nice. We’ll definitely be staying at Alkyonis next time we visit Kalymnos!”

“It was the second time for us in this structure! We decided to come back because the structure is perfect for a young climber's couple. Voula is so nice and willing, the room is clean and comfortable with a tiny helpful kitchen. The location is 10 minutes by bike to many climbing areas and it is surrounded by many useful shops: mini markets, restaurants, bike/car rentals and also a big supermarket is no so far. What do you want more? AH sure! You can also relax by the swimming-pool!”

“Aggelos studio apartments feel like home from home! Fantastic hospitality from the owner Noma. She couldn't do enough for us. She picked us up from the port, and took us back there at the end of our stay. Showed us where we could get free water. Took us to the supermarket, welcomed us with fresh fruit, did all our washing, and organized a motorbike. During our stay she also arranged a hairdressers appointment ( excellent haircut ) and made a reservation at a studio apartment on Leros. ( We didn't have a cell phone ) The apartments are homely and spacey and set in a quiet location, and were cleaned every day. Comfortable beds. Good shower, and decent size balcony with comfortable chairs. Beautiful clean pool. And the location was excellent. Seven minutes walk from the beach. One minute walk from the bus stop, and three very good restaurants and shops, and five minutes walk from the supermarket. Several of the other guests we met had stayed at Aggelos many times, and we will definitely come back next year!”

“We stayed in Mela Studios in June for 5 days, and we had a fantastic stay. The house is nice and well maintained. It's located close to the bus stop and supermarket, yet it's quiet. A lovely sandy beach is just 10 minutes of a pleasant walk away. There were few people on the beach, no sunbeds, no noise or water sports, which is exactly what we like. There are a few tavernas and shops nearby. Our apartment on the 2nd floor was very clean, well furnitured, and designed with taste. It had a pleasant, somewhat rustic feel. It was well equipped with everything we might need. The kitchen area wasn't too big, but still comfortable enough to prepare simple meals. The bathroom was clean and it had its own window, which was useful. It's a pity there is no shower base, which means you must be careful while taking a shower not to flood the whole floor. As the outlet was working ok, it wasn't too much of a problem though. We had a balcony with two chairs and a table, but there's also a spacious terrace in the house, where you can sit in the shadow of the grapevine, enjoying the view of the olive grove and the rocky hills of Kalymnos. Don't be surprised if little white-gray cat living in the neighbourhood comes to pay you a visit. We called her Melania :) She is a clean, friendly, and well-mannered cat who loves condensed milk :) The owner of Mela Studios, Mrs Evdokia, is kind and helpful person. She picked us up from the port in Pothia, and also taken us to the port when we were leaving to Kos. The apartment was regularly cleaned with new sheets and towels often. Wi-fi worked perfect with 10Mb/s speed. Mela Studios are located in Panormos, a pleasant Greek village, and a really good place to stay in Kalymnos. It's quiet and safe, with friendly people. From Panormos you can explore the whole island in both directions, even without renting a car or scooter, as the public bus service is quite good.”
