“It is a small family hotel and as such you will feel the personal touch and care. Stuff is friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is just perfect - close to the beach, easy access with a car and not on the noisy street next to the beach, which makes the room really quiet and comfortable. It is very close to the street next to the harbour too and you don't have to go up and down all the time like other hotels. It may not be directly on the beach, but we had PERFECT view to the sea and the island from the attic room. Terrace was big and comfortable and was a real pleasure to sit there and drink a coffee. Room was very clean and although a bit small with the additional bed for the kid, it was cosy and was big enough for us. I already mentioned, that the view from the terrace great but I will repeat it: the view was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Just this view was worth driving 10 hours to Parga. I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone to visit Parga and Hotel Maistrali - it is worth seeing and we really enjoyed our stay there.”

“I have nothing but praise for Villa Coralli. The hotel is located steps from the local beach and a very short walk to the center and pier. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room immaculate, the breakfast very good (you have it overlooking the sea), there are a few English-speaking tv stations, a kitchenette, refrigerator, safe, many electrical outlets, a shower that is easy to step into (in other places you have to be an acrobat to step in) and the breakfast room becomes a cafe where we had evening coffee, beer, etc. again overlooking the sea. We would have stayed longer but we were there the first few days in May and the boat excursions to Paxos, Corfu, the Ionian Islands (all reasonably priced) weren't yet going which was disappointing. If you're traveling by bus, you probably have to change in Preveza but perhaps in-season there are direct buses from Ioannina and other towns. The walk to Valtos beach is long. Unless you're in good shape take a regular taxi or water taxi in season. If you leave the hotel and turn left and a right at Don Camillo restaurant there is a small local beach (Piso Krioneri?) which has stones, not sand, but is quite picturesque.”

Location of Akis House is a matter of personal taste, for us it was great, in quiet and peaceful area, only minute walk from stores, but close enough to the center of town and to the beach. Everything is flat, so walking is not a problem (except when going to the castle or Valtos beach, it is much uphill). First time in Greece I had nice wi-fi (and this is my 6th visit). Parking is also provided in front of the house. All praise for hotel owners. If we ever decide to go again in Parga (which is very nice place), I will be booking in Akis House.”

“We were staying in one of the smaller studios (No. 1) and have planned our vacation a few months prior to our arrival. Parga is a beautiful little town, tucked in nearby hills and we picked Canary Studios out of all other offers because of couple of reasons that really made it stand out: 1) Everything was brand new and the whole villa is very modernly and stylishly furbished (just check the pictures on booking.com and on http://www.canarystudios.gr/en/photos). Apartments are very spacious (even smaller ones!). 2) Our host - Mr. Michael Liakris was very kind and hospitable in every correspondence prior to our arrival and during our stay. He is an American citizen and he speaks fluent English so it was a joy to talk with him. 3) The location is just perfect. Maybe 50 meters down the main road there is a nice paved road that separates from it and goes through olive gardens just by the town's small cemetery (no ghosts I promise) and leads straight to the city centre. And you are there in like 5 mins on foot, so no worries for those of you that think the villa is far away. That was great, because at first, we were a bit worried that we would have to walk a lot to get groceries or to get to local beaches. For the real hedonists I do not recommend the local - town beaches (Krioneri and Piso Krioneri). Valtos is OK, but a bit crowded. Lichnos is a bit further and even more beautiful. But what I truly recommend is visiting Alonaki beach that is about 25 km away from Parga, Sarakiniko beach (11 km away) and many others that are scattered in this region. Don't be lazy, get online and scout ahead what points of interest suit you best. It's your vacation for God's sake! We were here with our own car so that made it easier and I'm emphasizing that this all relates to people who come here with their own transportation or rent one. Missing out on all these gems of nature would be a heresy.”

The land lady is extremely friendly, taking every call and trying to accommodate every need. All in all, this house is totally worth staying at and having a great time. Highly recommended!”
