“The outside space is laid out superbly on different levels and connects well with the house. The view is incredible. The architecture fits the surroundings and has history and character too. Both inside and outside fabulously maintained. The night view of the whole Heraklion with flickering lights is truly stunning. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to cook for the whole family all week. Rena is incredibly hospitable and is around every day to see what we need and the pool was cleaned daily. Rena also cooked a full meal for us which was completely unexpected.”

“I liked the location on a hill with a top panoramic view on the sea. The house is located just 10 minutes by car from the biggest city on Crete which is Heraklion. The house is very spacious and you have all you need inside. It's like being home. The owner Maria is really a nice person, very helpful, funny and everytime at your disposal when needed. She even cooked some typical Greek dishes for me and my friends and brought to us one day. It was exquisite. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. It's a house I would definitely live in if I could.”

“Villa Rodea was truly a 5 star experience. The property itself is a gem with breathtaking views of the sea and city - both at day and nigh, every comfort and amenity available inside the spacious villa. Every detail has been carefully considered and thought through. We were a large family and not for a moment did we feel anything was amiss. The best part of the villa is the Kosmos Travel team that looked after us so well. It was like having a family locally, who were there to look after your every need. Right from receiving us at the airport, showing us around the villa, recommending places to eat and see and helping with the smallest things with such professionalism and friendliness. I have travelled to many countries and paid a lot of money for different villas and experiences around the world, but never experienced the great levels of service that we received at Villa Rodea. Special thanks to Giannis, Anastasios and Thodoris who made our stay so delightful!”
