“The grounds were expansive and immaculate. The entire staff, with special mention of Katherine, was gracious, helpful, and friendly. We had friends who live in the area stop by to have beer and light snacks with us with their children and the woman's parents. The children loved the children's play area, and the husband and I sat on the lawn and enjoyed a beer and talked. The pool area was very clean, and the pools were cleaned each morning. Everything was very pleasant! And safe, secure, and peaceful. The beach was a very short walk across the street and it is amazing!”

“We stumbled upon a true gem. The owners, Stig and Violeta were very kind and knowledgeable. Stig even recommended a great bird tour by boat with a local guide that was the highlight of our stay. The staff were warm and attentive and the food was delicious, homemade and fresh! Our favorites were the mango smoothies, shrimp skewers and shrimp ceviche. The location of the hotel is ideal--not right on the beach, but across the street from it, which was more tranquil. The pool is LOVELY--very relaxing--and the music played throughout the day was very enjoyable. The plants and vegetation around the hotel helps to create privacy from the street and a nice backdrop to lounging by the pool or eating in the restaurant. Lastly, the rooms were of nice size, with an A/C unit in each, keeping things cool while it gets very hot outside. All in all, we are definitely staying at this hotel the next time we are back in Monterrico and would recommend it fully!”
