“The Villa is of a very high standard and obviously maintained with a passion by the owner to remain as such. The pool with the infinity view is perfect, the sun loungers extremely comfortable. Inside, the beds are of a high quality and very comfortable affording an excellent nights sleep. The focus on comfort extends to the lounge, the two dining areas and small reception area. A query on the hot water - a switch had been turned off - was addressed immediately with the repair team on site within the hour. Not that a repair was required just a wall switch turned back on. Doh! To eat out, depends what you like, Pizza and stuff - head into Buje, however we decided to stop one evening at Atelier - and were extremely impressed with the service, the quality of the food and the family spirit - the menu is a mix of local dishes and the staples; however everything is locally sourced and simply delicious. The location of the Villa is perfect to escape into the hills either by car, bike or foot - if you go out by car some of the most beautiful villages await and stunning scenery with every corner you turn. Note : there are 2 'Konzan' supermarkets in Buje, go for the bigger one.”

“This is amazing cozy place in the romantic and picturesque Groznjan lost in the Istrian hills. The apartment is located in a very old medieval building. The apartment itself is very atmospheric and the interior carries you away into the old times of Italian ruling. The room is small, but very very cozy and clean. The view from the top room is just amazing: you get a view over the surrounding hills and the town. The host was very friendly and helpful (it is run by a very nice woman who speaks Italian and some German). She made everything for us to feel at home. There is a restaurant at the apartment, where you can have lunch/dinner as well as breakfast. We had the dinner there, and the meals were exceptionally good. Definitely the best accommodation place one I've ever stayed in.”
