“I spent 3 nights in Auberge, the location is 10 minutes to the Route De Delmas, one of the main streets of this vibrant, crazy city. The neibourhood looks safe, there is local market with fruits and veggies and supermarket for those more demanding (both 10 minutes by foot). Staff speak English, and Jordanie ( the boss) is very helpfull. I stayed in the cheap room downstairs ( 22 USD - single), and highly recommend this room as a cheap option (this is room for two actually, but I dont know the price). There is a kitchen. also. PEOPLE! Dont be afraid of Haiti! People are great, honest and they need tourists, I spend there fantastic 10 days”

We felt completely safe and yet could experience the sounds (chickens, street soccer, church folks singing and an “outlook view” of Haiti) from the uppermost level. We needed a place to overnight close to the airport with a shuttle and this guesthouse worked very well. A nourishing dInner and breakfast were included. Jude drove us himself to the airport in less than 15 minutes which is impressive given the congested commutes in Port au Prince.”
