“We needed a few nights to stay for helping in an English camp in another town. Although they don't provide meals the apartment was furnished with everything we needed to make our own coffee and breakfast (Moka coffeemaker, electric hot plate, cups, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, breadknife, cutting board, sink, dish drainer, dishwashing fluid, small fridge, toaster, microwave). It was close to the Penny store and Fortunata Restaurant and just a couple of minutes drive from the thermal pools, center of town, Happy Gelato, Sándor Petőfi House, and the Lidl Grocery. It is located in a residential area and NOT on a main road so you don't hear the truck traffic and can sleep well. Some hotels and pension houses are on the main road and can be horribly noisy at night or early morning with traffic, especially if you must open the window for air. The air-conditioning unit was a big help on the hot nights too! The hostess was extremely helpful and polite. It was an economical 4 nights stay for us too. I will definitely go there again when I stay in Kiskőrös! We ate dinner once at the Kurt Restaurant where you can find some fantastic ribs and once at the Fortunata where we had some good Chicken Kiev.”
