“Beautiful and comfortable room for a cheap price. The restaurant had cheap meals which were big and really delicious (recommend the potato curry). It's right on the river so you can have a swim whenever you like. We also did the jungle trek tour with this hostel and it was amazing, saw lots of orangutans, had delicious food and played fun games in the evening.”

“Very nice lodge on the edge of the jungle. We booked our jungle tour directly at the lodge and it was really amazing seeing the first orang utan after hardly half an hour walk. Directly at the lodge you can swim in the river or drift it down on a tube. Big fun for kids and adults. The trip to the site goes over very bad roads and therefore takes some time, but it is really worth the time and effort. Very friendly and ambitous hotel staff and guides, very adventurous jungle tour. We loved it!”

The owner Amar was very attentive to guests needs, he organised fantastic jungle treks, gave me a lift into the city when I needed & even provided me with cups of ginger tea when I was sick one day. The location is quiet & relaxed, set back from the river which avoided the river noise during rainy season. Many accommodations along this stretch are right on the river, with high noise. Easy access to walk along the national park & a balcony to sit & watch monkeys or read book. I had breakfast of banana porridge every morning which was great! 😊”
