Everything they do they do it with love and passion, including the breakfast which was always good. The place has 4-5 bungalows only which are very clean, well equipped and spacious. If you have the chance take one of the two brand new bungalows which are brand new and luxurious. The premises is a little far off the landing pier but that comes with a couple of advantages since it is the sunset side and sunsets are just beautiful to watch there. Also it is a very quiet spot with not a lot of other tourists around and hardly anyone who wants to sell you anything. And finally the best snorkeling spot of the island is just in front of you! If you have kids, we also recommend that beach because it is very flat and does not get any deep for at least 100-150m.”

On request form my girlfriend she organized a surprise party for my birthday. She ordered a cake(all the way from Lombok), organized the best live music there was on Gilli Meno and made my favorite Indonesian food at the buffet. Thumps up for Sylvie and here staff! “After a 10 min walk from the harbour we arrived at The This-Kon. We were welcomed by the lovely family and got a perfect welcome drink. Although we were there early due to the boat, they had our room ready very quickly. The room was just perfect. Clean, spacious, nice outdoor bathroom, good aircon, wifi, comfy bed, a closet for clothing, a small sitting area in front. Even a watertank with cold/hot water for free. It was perfect! They offered mosquito spray and we could borrow snorkeling gear for free. They have a free map of the island with all the information you need. The family was lovely and really kind and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was good too, lot of choice! We only stayed one night but wouldn't mind to stay for a while. Would recommend it!!”

The rooms were nice, clean and basic and more than enough for our needs. The shower is nice as well, there is hot water. You can olso refill your water bottle there for free! Highly recommended homestay, we loved it!:))))”

“we couldn't stay in the first hut as the air con was broken (the fridge was also covered in rust). The second hut appeared smarter and cleaner but the fresh smell quickly disappeared to reveal intense moth ball odours, and the whole place very rough around edges. Stained sheets, disgusting toilet with rotten door, uncomfortable bed, lots of mosquitos, rusty fridge, noisy air con, plus the standards and quality much lower than the photos. The cistern dripped constantly throughout the night and a huge cockroach in the bathroom was really off putting. Breakfast was ok - pineapple, banana, banana fritters and a fried egg fried sandwich. However I ended up giving lots away to the starving cat and kittens who were wailing and so, so thin. At 400k rupees per night this was not good value for money considering quality, cleanliness, distance from the beach and in comparison to other places.However very beautiful setting and gorgeous gardens! And cool to see a guy climb a coconut tree to get a fresh one for my welcome drink. Friendly staff.”
