“This is an authentic old palace which contains a grand but small hotel within the palace grounds itself. The rooms are very large, authentically marked by thick walls, lovely views, easy access to the remainder of the larger palace directly across the courtyard and a second palace a few steps down the hill. There is a very good restaurant just off the large and comfortable lobby area. Service is quick, polite and happy. If you really want a taste of a very old, very authentic palace this is your spot. Get a second floor room if at all possible, or shell out a bit more for the very grand Maharaja Suite.”
