“My husband and I stayed at Niya Regency from 18 Dec 2015 to 22 Dec 2015. We were very impressed with the hotel facilities, the spacious room with very good bathroom and hot shower and not forgetting sumptuous buffet breakfast served by their very friendly and humble staff. The hotel manager, Srikanth was very professional and efficient in handling a laundry problem we had. We were wowed by his service. He was fantastic and had excellent public relations. Special mention should also be given to the Executive of Housekeeping, Leejoy for his excellent service and another staff Ajith. Both were so pleasant and kind that it was so easy to talk to them and get things done. Even the staff at the reception were kind, friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Thrissur. Excellent job everyone!”

“We had a great stay at Wariyam Heritage. The location is perfect for those wanting to see Trichur. It is in a quiet road but only a minute's walk from the centre with the famous temples and many places to eat. The really special part though is how friendly everyone is. At every stage every member of staff was helpful and kind. It's quite an unusual building as it was converted from what must have once been quite a grand private house. The features of a nice old-fashioned house - the open spaces etc - have been retained so it really doesn't feel like a hotel as such more just a big house. We took the non-AC room which is near the front, this has a small second room joined to it. The owner was very friendly and showed us around and also some of the other rooms - some rooms are enormous and it would be an ideal choice for anyone travelling with a large family. The food provided was excellent. The brought us breakfast from a restaurant next door - delicious dosas and idli for breakfast. It was so good we asked where it was from and then went and ate lunch in the same place. During the day we went back for a break from the midday son and they came to ask if we would like a cup of tea. When they brought it they had gone to get us some snacks too. Old-fashioned good service that is rare these days. The owner had good recommendations for places to visit, all the restaurants he recommended were excellent, he helped us book our trains on to Cannanore and he even insisted on helping us on a couple of occasions by going to get us a rickshaw to save us carrying out bags the short distance up to the main ring-road in the centre. Small gestures like that really make it easier for western tourists in India. The service really was exemplary. Other hotels are perhaps a bit more "flashy" (or at least their photos are) but Wariyam Heritage is a very honestly described place, in a perfect location with staff providing outstanding service.”

“I had the most pleasent stay at Anikets and his wife's beautiful house. Despite being located right in the center of Thrissur it is a very quiet neighborhood! Aniket was very helpful with giving me recommendations for good places to eat (I loved the Bharath!), with the booking of my train ticket and he even gave me a ride to the train station early in the morning on my day of departure.
