“The hotel is located in a beautiful area of La Toscana, I really liked that you are in the middle of this gorgeous land. Hotel staff was the best, always looking forward for what you need. Breakfast is delicious, with their incredible eggs and bread. I really appreciate that their chef, Irene is always open to hear about if you are completely satisfied with her meals. Dinner is as well great, one of the best "ravioli" of my trip. Its the best option if you are just arriving and don't want to bother to look for a "nearby" town to find a restaurant. The bedroom is big, bright and quite comfortable with beautiful views and twin beds are really two different beds. They help us with some wine glasses one night to taste some of the bottles that we bring that day from a Vineyard roadtrip around Montalcino. The location of the Locanda is accurate on the google maps app, since we couldn't find it on Tom Tom car's GPS, so be certain to get the coordinates if you need them.”

“Without hesitation I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a quiet exploration of the San Quirico D'Orcia region and the beautiful SP146. The sunrise and sunsets can be watched with a glass of your host's finest red (well maybe not sunrise, that would be concerning) from the terrace. The walking and peace is impressive. Facilities are very good and you have access to a washing machine whenever you want for no extra charge. Your hosts are welcoming and charming; they don't speak English (their daughter who is a regular visitor does though) but miming is easy. Wifi is fast and free. It's 5km along a white road from San Quirico D'Orcia and thus you need a car. A wonderful break overall.”

“The most beautiful agriturismo in Tuscany. Beautiful views on all sides. The owner was very friendly and told us a lot about Tuscany, his wines and the cities around this area. His English was good. The room was very clean, comfortable and it had everything to cook dinner, have a glass or wine or anything you desire. Breakfast that was included in the price was big and very tasty with a beautiful view. You can taste and buy great wines form their winery. There is also a pool with the most gorgeous view of the whole valley. We will come back again when we visit Tuscany.”

“This was one of the best rooms that we had during our trekking trip through tuscany. We actually got engaged right before we arrived and we had the best time there. The view is wonderful an calming, the room was beautiful romantic and modern, the bathroom was great and clean and as vegetarians Nadja the host prepared a individual dinner for us. The next day, she even drove us to Seggiano, because we couldn`t walk that day because of bad blisters. Everything was perfect and we definitely want to come back soon! We actually didn`t want to leave here. Oh and the breakfast was also really tasty !!!!”

The breakfast get 5 stars, It was fresh and there was a little bit of everything, fruits, ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, different jams and cake! One small minus is that by booking.com we read that they offered bikes for rent by no charge-while staying at sant ansano we asked for bikes but they didnt have any at all.”

“The whole apartment was a wonderful surprise. Everything was finished to perfection and with wonderful taste. The apartment had absolutely everything you could need to stay there.
