“My husband and I shared 2 wonderful relaxing days here. We were traveling Italy for 27 days and this was the most peaceful. The dinner at the restaurant was out of this world delicious. His steak was huge. There was not a salad on the menu but I really needed one so they made me a huge salad. Service was humble and prompt right down to washing my clothes upon request. I very much enjoyed Roberto and his information and hospitality. I recommend spending the few extra $s and going for their reserve wine, FATA. It blows the others away. Second to that is the Aria. I recommend both of these over the Gaiole. We were fortunate enough to soak in the wine bath. My only complaint is the water was not hit enough- so request it HOT if you reserve the tub :) There was also a massive tub in our room. We sprung for the wine tour and light lunch and so happy we did. Learned so much and enjoyed Vito the Chef ! If you want the real Tuscan experience in a calm atmosphere this is the place. We never left for the whole 2 days. Grazie Casa Al Borgo for the unforgetable memories. And nourishing us with your charm.”

She was unbelievable. We will be back, soon.”

“Alba is always very friendly and helpful and always cheerful. We stayed in the appartment, which was great. The house is located in a very small village high on top of a hill. The view is fantastic. The surrounding hills with wine orchards is like from a postcard. The area is very quiet. The nearby town of Gaiole in Chianti has a nice bar where we enjoyed "Spritz", the favorite aperatif in Italy. There are fantastic restaurants in the area, but you have to know about them, for example the restaurant in Lecchi and Birischio.”
