I arrived late but they managed to leave the exterior gate open for me so I could drive to the house itself, and then came within 5mn after I called to say I'd arrived. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom, plus a spacious terrace with table and chairs, a small pool, barbecue facilities, and a huge parking area. Perfect for enjoying life in the countryside. There is no WiFi, which provides a healthy escape from the Internet. It's a 5mn drive to Linguaglossa town and about half an hour to the northern entrance of the Etna. If the weather is no good for hiking up the Etna, the sea is only half an hour away. Taormina is just about 40mn away by car. A good Italian restaurant sits practically next door.”

“My stay at Etna Vintage was by far the best during my trip around Sicily. The host Giuseppe was incredible and made my time at Etna Vintage a five star experience. He was able to accomodate my requests regarding late check-in and gave me the right advice on dining and places to visit nearby. When I walked into my room I found a spacious and clean space and I was also welcomed by some local goods and cold water. The place also offers a nice outdoor area where it is possible to enjoy some fresh air and the nice view of the volcano. Etna Vintage is located just 10 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from Taormina and offers quick access to Etna and other great locations nearby. Giuseppe was the greatest host I have ever had and I highly recommend staying here!”
