“We were contacted by the owner on the day of arrival to confirm our stay. We arrived and were met by the owner who showed us the apartment. She explained everything and couldn't be more helpful. The location is off a small road and then down a twisty track that is very private with only access to a few properties. The view is beautiful and the whole area is very tranquil. We only heard animals and the crickets chirping in the evening. We stayed in the separate which was wonderful. A small private terrace area. Inside there is a small kitchen with hob and portable oven and a fridge which had complimentary water and fruit picked from the gardens. The apartment had a comfy bed and a small but very clean en-suite bathroom with a shower. It also has a heat/air conditioning unit which provided some wonderful cool air at the end of hot Italian summer days. We didn't have breakfast so we cannot comment but there is a terrace for the other guests with an equally beautiful view. We used the outdoor pool each day and it was beautiful, well maintained and nestled only about 30m from the building, surrounded by tree's and woodland. There is free wifi although, in our separate apartment the signal wasn't very good. However, sat near the door or outside on the terrace, there wasn't a problem and we could keep up with family/social media on our tablet whilst sat outside watching the sunset etc. As there are only 3 apartments, even when all are occupied, you feel you have a lot of privacy and we were never disturbed by anyone. We stayed for 4 nights over a long weekend and loved the peace and quiet. You will need a car to travel around. The nearest local town/city is Montecatini Terme which is a popular tourist area so there are plenty of bars, cafe's and restaurants should you need them. The town is about a 20minute drive. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. We will be back ourselves in the future.”

“Hosts are friendly! We came with motocycles and just before arrival my battery went dead because of the rain. They offered me their spare but it didn't fit so they suggested a place to buy it. They had friends over for a dinner when we came and we got a plate of delicous home made pasta with wild pork sauce as a welcome gift. The place is very old with visible wooden construction on the ceiling. Beds and toilets were clean. Interior was not in the best condition but it didn't matter since we spent most of the time outside on amazing terrace with wonderful view of nerby hills and city Lucca. Thank you Simone & husband!”
