“Giani was a very special host for us. He welcomed us with a homemade dinner (per request), always attentive to our needs and preferences during breakfast (I had the best scrambled eggs of my life), and gave us many tour tips. The room is comfortable and the view is amazing, perfect spot for the sunset. “When you reserve these places, you always expect them to be a little less idyllic as shown on photos. Casa Nell'Aia however did not disappoint. Nice views of Tuscan vineyards and sprawling hills, appropriately decorated apartment, great central location, close to San Gimignano, the Chianti area, even Firenze and Siena are less than 40 min away with a car. Poggibonsi is 10 minutes away, with a large Coop where you can do all of your grocery shopping. Angelo, the host, is very accommodating, helpful and kind. You share the pool with only one other apartment, which means that 90% of the time we used it, it was just us. The terrace is huge and offers enough privacy and great views of the surroundings and the star-filled night sky. There is a grill, a lounging area, and a dining area outside. The apartment has a cute rustic kitchen, a big dining table, comfortable couch, all in a decadently large main lounge. Also, a nice, comfy bedroom. Perfect for a couple. The place is equipped with all the things you need for cooking, even local spices and wines. Also, incredible wineries with amazing food, cooking classes and wine tastings are only 10 minutes away. Value for money of this place is unmatched. Unless we decide to go to south Tuscany on our next trip, we will 100% come back!”
