“Location at the top of typical Tuscany hill with beautiful surroundings view. Property has big green field. House (apartment) in Tuscany style, fully equipped, we did not miss anything. Perfect point for daily excursions to small villages and bigger Tuscany cities. From the main road you have to drive approx. one kilometer on the macadam road, but this is not a disadvantage. When you come to the property, you will know why :-) . Perhaps, someone will miss WiFi. We didn't, because Tuscany is a region to enjoy, not for internet surfing & diving :-) . “Very quiet location with nice views over the hilly Tuscan countryside. The place is about 5-10mins by car uphill a small dirt road once you left the main road. It's not in the center of Riparbella village but on the other side of it, about 15mins drive away, in the countryside. Daniele, our host, was so kind to meet up with us in Cecina and to get us up to the place to make things easier. Daniele is very kind and welcoming. He speaks very good English, is very attentive and took his time to give us all the necessary information. We bought some food beforehand as the place is not so close to restaurants and supermarkets. The kitchen and the fridge are small and you may have to bring some more kitchen utensils if you want to cook a bit more but the basics of the kitchen are very good. The appartment may suit better for people who prefer to eat in a restaurant but there is also a small backing oven if you want to prepare a simple dish. We enjoyed sitting and eating on the terrace in the evenings, it's such a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The appartment is very neat, modern, freshly painted, in cheerful design and coulours. The washing machine worked perfectely and you have a big laundry rack on the terrace. The car can be parked safely in a private parking space about 50m aways from the entrance. For unloading or loading you can park right beside the appartment. If you want to go to another village or to the seaside you will need your car or bicycle. We apreciated going for walks close to the house, there are several quiet dirt road paths that you can follow, close to some nice vinyards, too. We had a great time in La Lavanda and hope to be back again next year!”

“The whole team is a really friendly and dedicated bunch. I like the new, tidy and sleek appeal of the resort, the neat and tidy rooms, I like the garden, the little paths on the hill, I love the herbs. I felt like I was in an Italian poet vacation's dream. I loved the clean floors and the modern leather upholstery. I liked the sun and the Cypress outlines in the Tuscany's sunset from my room's balcony. I loved the quiet roomy elevator, and the herbal tea at the spa. The bubbly whirlpool and the column porch in the swimming pool. It's a pretty place. With human touches. Ah, did I already mention it?! I loved the team. They take care offering things, in case I want them. They smile. They ask about how happy I am. I loved their cheerful chatter in the morning. ... Well, it's Italian chatter... what's there not to love ?! Maybe not all is perfect, but I feel there's love and care in how this business is run. Thanks for all this. That was actually priceless.”
