“From the very first moment we arrived at Corte de Giorgi we were welcomed by the lovely hosts - Giorgio, Rosanna, Fina and Umberto. Giorgio had already contacted us before arrival and had provided detailed recommendations for visiting the area. His English was excellent which helped us a lot. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, spacious and with all the home comforts you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden for dinner and eating breakfast outside the front of the house. We even arranged a pasta making workshop and Italian eating experience prepared by Fina who was an excellent cook. This was all excellent value for money and a memorable experience for us and our young daughters. For our meal we chose a fish menu and had delicious antipasti, mussels, swordfish pasta, sea bream, fresh fruit and home-made cake followed by locally produced ice-cream! All the food tasted amazing and was locally sourced and typical of the area. There was enough food to feed two families! Vernole proved a good location to explore the heel of Italy. We enjoyed being able to walk to a local restaurant which we would recommend. It was close to the coast too and ideal for beach days. We hope to visit again one day! “Innita, was a beautiful person and a fantastic host. The breakfast was exceptional and the setting was marvellous. The place is 10 minutes from lecce and 10 minutes from the beach. The hammocks in the olive grove were great for relaxing. The room was very comfortable, quiet and had good airconditioning. Spar supermarket 2 minute drive away.”

“The b&b located in quite environment surrounded by olive trees. A perfect location to relax and visit the south of Puglia! Frederico and Allesandra are very friendly and always willing to help. They recommended some nice places to visit and some restaurants where we could taste the typical food from the region. They even helped us by making a reservation. The room was brand new and clean, and it is accommodated with airconditioning, a fridge and good blindings. They serve a sweet breakfast with typical products from the region which they even adapt to your personal needs. The accommodation has a swimming pool which was a nice refresher after a day of traveling through Puglia. We really liked our stay at B&B Medali!”
