“I must add right to begin with that the location is wonderful if you have your own mode of transportation. Otherwise it would be difficult to get here other than with a taxi. This modern and glamorous hotel which undoubtedly caters mainly to wedding guests and at other times to families, could be crowded and noisy in peak seasons or on weekends. We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night. The first night the hotel was virtually empty, and the next night very full. While it was quiet at night, the baths in the evening and dining room at breakfast were very crowded. So keep that in mind when booking. Otherwise the hotel is a wonderful place to stay with beautiful Western and Japanese style rooms - half of which face the bay. Our room was clean and fresh, the service very friendly and helpful, though English was not spoken by most of the staff members. Dinners are expensive in the hotel as they have a captive audience with no other venues close-by. The breakfast buffet was very good and varied with an emphasis on Japanese fare. All in all I would recommend this hotel for travelers just passing through or wanting a base from which to explore the region.”
