“This is an old fashioned place which was quite clean but was definitely stuck a few decades in the past. This was perfectly fine for me but your mileage may vary. I just put extra futons down when the futons are thin, but others might have trouble. They provided me with an air purifier when requested which kept my asthma at bay. I quite enjoyed the little onsen here. The little outdoor bath was relaxing even when it was raining, and the indoor one as well. I got there late on the first day and although they were worried about me, they held dinner until I arrived and were okay when I explained the rain and fog had slowed me down. The food and local delicacies were quite delicious with the exception of the salmon which I do not recommend (might be due to the time of year). The owners are quite nice and friendly. I speak Japanese so I didn't have any trouble communicating with them but I imagine there would be a bit of effort to if you don't speak Japanese.”

“At first it seems a bit small from outside, but from the inside it's a cosy place. I got a room for myself, because there weren't that many people.
