“The views of the ocean out of every room are amazing. There is free underground parking underneath the property. I loved that there was a convenience store attached to the hotel as well. Very nice looking restaurants. Also, the rooms were pretty neat but it took us a while to realize you had to insert your room key in the slot by the door to get the electricity to turn on. Very cool concept as it does not allow electricity to be wasted. The hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. I would go back again!”

“Daecheon Beach was very quiet as it was out of season which, after a week in Japan, we needed. Hotel was short on wardrobe space but good for price. Transport cheap and easy. “it was just like an ordinary motel in S.Korea. there was a swimming pool but it's not yet open. If it's open it will be much better to stay and have fun. I'm not sure whether info staff can speak english or not because we both are korean. But when I asked him to help us to book some activity he helped and adviced us. “Since the pension is easily reachable by public transport and has close proximity to several supermarkets as well as the beach, the location is pretty much perfect. We had a very fast check in and were completely content with the facilities. We also used the opportunity to rent a BBQ-grill which was a great experience. “Two words...clean & friendly. For those who have traveled quite a bit, you know the forced 'Welcome to our hotel' when in reality, the receptionist simply wants you to check in and not be a bother. Well, I can honestly say that this was the most GENUINELY kind and helpful receptionist team I have ever met. I spoke Korean...broken and slow...and they spoke more English than my Korean which made for interesting encounters during my stay. The room was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in and I have traveled to 40 countries, stayed in countless hotels and this one, as for cleanliness beats them all. There wasn't any dust anywhere in the room. And for those who travel for business know that if there is going to be dust, it would be near the headboard or on the TV...or somewhere on the dresser. This place...my goodness was spotless. The view from my window (8th) floor was wonderful. I could see the full beach and it was just a few steps from the hotel. I needed a quiet place to study, outside of the busy city I live in and this beach and hotel were EXACTLY what I needed. You have a roundtable for two with two very comfortable chairs on an enclosed balcony. There is a 24 hour 'large' mart a few steps away and right across the street, you have plenty of places to eat. The supermarket is about a 5-minute drive away. As a heads up, all toiletries (toothbrush.toothpast, robes, soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner) were provided. There were even free snacks in the fridge. Chips/two different drinks/ and water. They even had an extra phone charger in the room. For those taking public transportation from Seoul/Daejeon/or Busan---Daecheon Station (대천역) is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. This hotel definitely fits the needs of beachgoers who are looking to get away for the weekend. So much so, my friend along with two children will be heading back to this gem very soon. I highly recommend this hotel.”
