Not for everyone though, pigeons can be pretty noisy, there can be party going on... so not for a light-sleeper. But for me... one of the best accommodation I've had so far.”

“Attractive, comfortable cottages (great bathrooms) on the river, lovely views, peaceful and not too far from town - the road runs through some interesting villages. Mr Charles, his family and staff were kind, informative and helpful. Some of the excursions were not possible, for reasons beyond the hotel’s control, but one on the river was a delight. We also liked the food and a very nice breakfast is provided.”
