“It is perfect. It doesn’t have views to Cooper Canyon but the all the food service is organized in another hotel at 3 min by walking( but they take you there in a car) so you have access to these incredible views whenever you want and the price is cheaper than the other hotel with the views. It was so clean and comfortable and the receptionist Montserrat was always happy to help us and solve our doubts. We recommend this place 100%.”

“The best part of this stay is the family that operates it. They are amazing people and will care for you like are royalty. There are english speakers available if that is helpful and they can also provide excellent tours, also in english if necessary. There is also a small store across the street which is very convenient if you are on foot because you arrived on Chepe. Do arrange to have them pick you up as it is too far to walk from the Divisadero train stop with your luggage. I recommend Copper Canyon to everyone I meet and I always tell them to stay at Cabañas Los Portales in Areponápuchi. Please tell them Brad from Alaska sent you!”

“This was perfect for our group of 4, walkable to lots of beautiful trails with the owner being personable and a great guide. We hiked around the local area on our own but Oviel guided us further afield for a quite reasonable rate. There are a couple of decent restaurants nearby.”

“This is a little hotel near the Posada Barranca station. (We were at first confused by the location since there are 2 train stations just a few minutes apart). There is not really a town here, just a few small hotels and a couple of tiny local stores. Luckily, Darely has a little restaurant with decent food and decent prices. Our room was large and had its own wood stove. The beds were comfortable. And we could walk to the Adventure Park.”
